Apple has launched the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max and Duo. The Duo is foldable, and is said to be capable of charging to up to 50% in 15 minutes, with a 60W-class AVS-compatible power adapter required.
Apple has unveiled and launched the 18 Pro, Pro Max and Duo as new iPhone models. The Duo has attracted attention with its foldable design, and descriptions of its charging specifications have been compiled from multiple references.
According to the official description, wired fast charging uses a 60W-class power source and a 60W-capable USB-C cable, while the fastest charging is possible with an AVS-equipped adapter. AVS stands for Adjustable Voltage Supply and is described as a standard that allows the output voltage to be adjusted within a certain range.
A 40W dynamic power adapter supporting up to 60W is said to make it possible to charge to 50% in 15 minutes, as described. It has also been suggested that the initial charging speed is higher than that of conventional, commonly used USB PD chargers.
