Adtech and KGモーターズ have signed a basic agreement for a business alliance in the one-person compact EV “mibot” business. The agreement covers the development and mass production of mibot, feature updates via OTA, and potential future expansion into autonomous driving and MaaS.
It was announced that KGモーターズ has signed a basic agreement for a business alliance under which Adtech will build a strategic partnership for the “mibot” business, a one-person compact mobility robot developed, manufactured and sold by KGモーターズ. As a core company of the AKIBAホールディングス group, Adtech plans to advance collaboration including the development and manufacturing of in-vehicle control boards and the supply of cloud infrastructure equipment.
mibot produces no CO2 emissions and achieves high energy efficiency through its lightweight body and finely tuned motor output control. It is designed as an SDV that supports software updates via OTA, with a view to future expansion into autonomous driving, MaaS, VPP and other areas.
Adtech will leverage the group’s experience in IoT device development and in-vehicle hardware to strengthen the supply of in-vehicle control boards, memory and storage, as well as equipment for cloud infrastructure supporting data collection and analysis, as a preferred supplier and solution partner to KGモーターズ.
As part of future collaboration, the companies will consider expanding technological and business cooperation in mibot’s SDV platform, in-vehicle control systems and related areas, as well as supplying equipment for server and edge-computing environments to support the use of AI.
