Willplus Holdings forecasts sales of ¥116.416 billion and operating profit of ¥2.255 billion for the fiscal year ending June 2027. Seven M&A transactions are expected to contribute for the full year, with profitability expected to improve as PMI progresses.
Along with its results for the fiscal year ended June 2026, the company forecast sales of ¥116.416 billion and operating profit of ¥2.255 billion for the fiscal year ending June 2027. Operating profit is expected to increase 58.1% year on year. These figures incorporate previously announced M&A deals and store-opening plans, and no additional M&A deals are assumed for the current fiscal year.
Seven M&A deals are expected to contribute for the full year, mainly in the imported-vehicle dealership business, with profitability expected to improve as PMI progresses. Meanwhile, rising procurement and logistics costs in the used-vehicle export-related business could affect profitability, and the company plans to pass these higher costs on through pricing.
The results briefing materials indicate that overall profit is supported by a combination of higher sales in the imported-vehicle dealership business, the PMI benefits of the recurring-revenue business, and more stable fee income from the insurance business.
On the financial front, total assets expanded against a backdrop of rising current assets, while the company restrained real estate acquisitions to stabilize its capital structure and maintained an equity ratio of 26.6%. The company stated that it would continue repaying long-term borrowings, contain its cost of capital, and maintain financial soundness.
In terms of store expansion, the company plans to increase its store count through 4 new store openings and the acquisition of 9 stores through business transfers, with the total expected to reach 65 stores in FY2027. Progress in greening its stores was also reported, including steady advances in the proportion of low-carbon vehicles and the installation of EV-related equipment and the conversion of company vehicles to EVs.
For medium-term shareholder returns, the company has adopted a progressive dividend policy with a DOE floor of 4.5% and set the current fiscal year's annual dividend at ¥53.67 based on the 4.5% DOE standard. The payout ratio is expected to be 38.9%.
