St. Cousair announced in 2025 that it would enter the confectionery business and said it plans to develop confectionery brands tailored to individual regions, primarily at tourist destinations. The company described Kurumi-do, scheduled to open on the 8th on Zenkoji Nakamise Street in Nagano, as its model store and said it would establish brands suited to each region.
Based on this model, the company is advancing plans to develop regional brands at tourist destinations nationwide and strengthen the confectionery business's brand power. The timing and detailed operating arrangements for individual brands are expected to be finalized going forward.
The company also set a medium-term target of approximately ¥5 billion in confectionery business sales by 2035. The focus going forward is expected to be the penetration of regional brand strategies and expansion of the store network.
