The number of startups included in ケップル's startup database has surpassed 20,000. The database is operated jointly with Nikkei Inc. and also contains investor information.
株式会社ケップル has announced that the number of companies included in its database, which consolidates business summaries and fundraising information for startups, has reached 20,000. Approximately 6,000 investors are currently included in the database. The company says the database enables analysis of fundraising trends among domestic startups and growth trends by region.
The company operates the database jointly with its capital and business partner, Nikkei Inc., providing both startup and investor information. Examples of data use include streamlining the process of compiling lists, identifying rapidly growing companies based on changes in employee numbers, and estimating the timing of the next fundraising round from past fundraising activity.
In addition to providing database services including KEPPLE DB, some information is sold through Nikkei Inc.'s business database, Nikkei Telecom, under the names “ケップル スタートアップ企業情報” and “ケップル スタートアップ投資家情報.” The information covers company profiles, business summaries, officer information and financing information.
ケップル says it will continue to expand its business with the aim of developing the startup and investor ecosystem.
