ヴィア・ホールディングス revised first-half ordinary profit from the previous forecast of a ¥150 million profit to a ¥307 million profit, and full-year ordinary profit from a ¥260 million profit to a ¥420 million profit, on 20 October 2026.
After the close of trading on 20 October, VIA Holdings announced revisions to its earnings forecasts, raising its consolidated ordinary income forecast for the first half (April-September) to nearly twice the previous forecast. The new forecast is a profit of ¥307 million, compared with a loss in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
At the same time, the company raised its full-year consolidated ordinary income forecast from a profit of ¥260 million to a profit of ¥420 million. The previous fiscal year ended in a loss, but the company now expects to return to profitability in the current fiscal year.
The revisions are attributed to higher-than-expected operating and ordinary profit resulting from efforts to redesign the company’s earnings structure, including store rationalization, productivity improvements and cost optimization. The company also announced that it would record ¥139 million in compensation received in connection with the relocation of stores as extraordinary income.
Based on first-half results and the revised forecasts, interim net income is expected to substantially exceed the previous forecast. Interim net income attributable to owners of the parent is expected to be ¥298 million.
