山形銀行 announced that it will dispatch 1 bank employee to 七十七銀行's consulting subsidiary in Singapore from 2 November. The purpose is to strengthen the collection of information on local markets and the development of local networks, while supporting customers' overseas expansion, development of sales channels and matching with local institutions.
The employee will work at 77ネクストコンサルティング, established by 七十七銀行 in 2025. The initial host is a consulting subsidiary that has previously dispatched employees to Bangkok Bank in Thailand, and is expected to support the promotion of overseas business.
In March, the 3 banks, 山形銀行, 七十七銀行 and 東邦銀行, entered into a partnership agreement aimed at the sustainable development of Southern Tohoku. This initiative is positioned as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation in supporting overseas business.
Going forward, the banks plan to deepen cooperation with local companies and institutions, mainly in ASEAN and India, and enhance their framework for gathering local market information and supporting overseas expansion.
