Panasonic announced the EH-NB70, one of its smallest hair dryers, and the EH-HN30/EH-HN51 straighteners as new products in its Nanocare hair-care series. Ambassador Rikako Yagi appeared at the launch event.
The new Nanocare series hair dryer EH-NB70 and straighteners EH-HN30 and EH-HN51, scheduled to launch on 1 November, were announced, with ambassador Rikako Yagi appearing at the event. The EH-NB70 is the smallest model in the series’ history and is designed to pursue faster drying while reducing tangling.
The EH-HN30 and EH-HN51 straighteners feature nanoe technology and plates designed to apply heat and pressure evenly to the hair. They were described as capable of maintaining straight hair at a lower temperature than the previous models. They are scheduled to launch on 1 November.
A web video campaign also began with the release of a video advertisement on the 20th, and a large-scale outdoor advertising campaign is planned in Tokyo in November. A dedicated website, “髪と私 by nanocare,” was launched at the same time to introduce stories from Nanocare users.
Rikako Yagi was appointed as a “Nanocare lover,” having used Nanocare hair dryers for more than 10 years. She spoke about her continuing connection with Panasonic, including winning the Panasonic Beauty Award during an audition.
