SUBARU BRZ GT300 recorded the fastest time and secured pole position in qualifying for AUTOBACS SUPER GT Round7 at AUTOPOLIS. Yamauchi (山内) posted a time in the latter half of the 34-second range, at 1:42.677, showing that the team remains in strong form.
SUBARU had recorded the fastest time in practice before qualifying, and the car was considered to be in good condition. Subaru repeatedly posted fast sector times in both Sector 1 and Sector 2, demonstrating its strength in official qualifying.
Yamauchi (山内) said, “I want to put in a strong performance in tomorrow’s final race,” emphasizing that the car’s development had progressed despite the team’s difficult seasons in the past. With the team having struggled to convert its results into consistent success, securing pole position is viewed as a major step forward.
