Minato Holdings was selected as a constituent of the newly established TOPIX Next-tier Index, with inclusion scheduled for 30 October 2026. The company identified expanding its market capitalisation and strengthening engagement with institutional investors as its future policy priorities.
Minato Holdings announced that it had been selected as a constituent of the TOPIX Next-tier Index, which JPX Research Institute will newly begin calculating, and that it is scheduled to be included in the index as of 30 October 2026.
The company said that, in addition to business growth, expanding its market capitalisation will be key to broadening its appeal as an investment target among institutional investors in Japan and overseas. Against the backdrop of its market capitalisation having expanded approximately 5.3-fold over the past year, it views the development as an opportunity to broaden its engagement with institutional investors.
Going forward, the company said it will strengthen its outreach to institutional investors in Japan and overseas, deepen their understanding of its business platform and medium- to long-term growth strategy, and seek inclusion in assets under management and an increase in ownership ratios held by institutional investors.
The company also said it will pursue business expansion by advancing its digital consortium initiative, seek to diversify its shareholder base and improve liquidity through proactive disclosure and dialogue with individual and institutional investors, and keep a future transition to the Prime Market in view.
