ニューテック will begin selling the new Nrec6200 and Nrec4200 models in October 2026. Hardware RAID improves recording availability, while the lineup offers 6-bay and 4-bay models to suit on-site installation environments.
ニューテック announced the Nrec6200 and Nrec4200 as new recording servers for surveillance camera video systems. As successors to the previous models, they feature upgraded CPUs and a hardware RAID controller as standard. They support hot-swappable drives and automatic rebuilding, and are designed to continue recording even when a failure occurs.
The lineup comprises the 6-bay, 2U Nrec6200 chassis and the 4-bay, 1U Nrec4200 chassis. Both models allow the operating system to be selected to suit on-site operations. The Nrec6200 supports on-site anomaly detection with an LCD panel and buzzer, while the Nrec4200 features two 10GbE ports and an AMD 6-core CPU.
Both models use Windows Server 2025 Standard as the operating system. The Nrec4200 also offers a special configuration with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024.
For surveillance applications at stores, facilities and factories, the products provide data protection features for drive failures and remote monitoring through a BMC, enabling anomaly notifications to be sent to both on-site personnel and administrative departments.
