高松機械工業 announced that it had revised its consolidated operating income forecast for the first half of the fiscal year ending March 2027 upward, from a previous forecast of a ¥360 million loss to a ¥40 million profit. Demand for semiconductor-related manufacturing equipment exceeded expectations, while cost reductions, stricter expense management and efforts to improve profitability on a project-by-project basis also contributed.
メタウォーター was valued for its record-high order backlog, and SBI Securities maintained its Buy rating and raised its target price from ¥2,800 to ¥4,000. The company reported first-quarter orders of ¥74.3 billion for the fiscal year ending March 2027, up 7% year on year, and an order backlog of ¥425.9 billion, up 20%. The order backlog for its overseas business also increased.
琉球銀行 raised its consolidated net profit forecast for the first half of the fiscal year ending March 2027 from ¥4.30 billion to ¥5.67 billion. It said that increases in interest on loans and other items are expected to exceed the initial forecast, while the full-year forecast will remain unchanged. ディスコ lowered its target price from ¥63,000 to ¥49,000 after its October-December guidance was judged to imply a decline in profit from the previous quarter. テラドローン surged after its appearance on a TBS-affiliated program was viewed as a positive catalyst. しまむら's target price was raised by Nomura Securities from ¥3,500 to ¥3,600, with Nomura indicating that it would wait for specific measures toward the company's 10.0% operating margin target for the fiscal year ending February 2030.
