Hitachi Ltd.'s Taiwan subsidiary is expected to sell its 51% stake in 永日建設機械 for several billion yen, while Hitachi Construction Machinery is expected to retain its 49% stake. The acquisition is reportedly expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
永日建設機械 is headquartered in Taoyuan City and operates 4 locations across Taiwan. It is currently reported to be owned 51% by Hitachi Ltd.'s Taiwan subsidiary and 49% by Hitachi Construction Machinery.
