小松ウオール工業, headquartered in Komatsu, Ishikawa Prefecture, is scheduled to hold the fifth session of Architecture Seminar 2026, a series exploring the history and future of architecture, on Saturday, 5 December 2026. The event is part of a six-session series and will be held at BLUE FRONT SHIBAURA TOWER S, featuring a lecture as well as a site visit.
The theme of this seminar is “THE MEASURE OF ARCHITECTURE: Humanity, Place and Time.” It will explore the value created by architecture and the transmission of memory through the lenses of humanity, place and time. Kamimoto Gary (亀本ゲーリー) of Maki and Associates will serve as the speaker, with the lecture expected to accommodate 60 people and the site visit 40 people.
Kagami Shingo (鏡晋吾) will moderate the lecture, which will consider the future of architecture and cities from multiple perspectives. The site visit is for lecture participants and forms part of the program.
In addition to the details of the fifth session, the next event, Vol.6, is scheduled for Thursday, 18 February 2027, from 18:30-20:30. It will be held at 小松ウオール工業’s 101 TOKYO SHOWROOM, with Nakamura Miho (中村美穂) serving as the speaker.
