Revenue is expected to decline 2% from the previous fiscal year to ¥12.7 billion. The company is not expected to achieve the return to profitability projected in its previous forecast, while the increase in inventory valuation losses will also weigh on operating profit. An operating loss of ¥235 million is forecast, compared with an operating loss of ¥1.1 billion in the previous fiscal year.
The program will be open to employees who, as of 31 March 2027, the anticipated retirement date, are either aged 50 to 60 with at least 10 years of service or are rehired contract employees aged 60 or older. In addition to retirement benefits, participants will receive special additional payments and outplacement support services. Approximately 25 people are expected to participate.
