Cybertrust Japan and 日本RA will begin sales on 1 September 2026 of “NRA Trust Seal,” an electronic seal service that verifies the issuer of PDF documents and the integrity of data after signing. The companies are targeting 300 customers in the first year.
Cybertrust Japan and 日本RA Co., Ltd. will jointly launch “NRA Trust Seal,” an electronic seal service that enables companies to verify the issuer of PDF documents and the integrity of data after signing. The service will be offered as an integrated package comprising an iTrust e-Seal certificate, an electronic-signature application and user-management functions, and is designed to enable small and medium-sized companies to adopt it at low cost and in a short time.
The background includes the need to comply with the Electronic Books Preservation Act and the invoice system, as well as the growing risk of issuer impersonation and tampering resulting from advances in generative AI. Use of the “e-Seal Certification System” led by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications is expected.
日本RA is targeting sales to 300 companies in the first year and plans to improve the reliability of business-to-business transactions by ensuring the authenticity of issuers and the integrity of content.
The service comes standard with management functions that allow seals to be applied only from devices authorized by an administrator, enabling secure operation. 日本RA and Cybertrust Japan will support improvements in the reliability of electronic documents through broader adoption enabled by their partnership.
