The Hokkaido Government and ほくほくフィナンシャルグループ signed a partnership agreement to support children and households raising children. The agreement aims to strengthen support by assisting with financial planning and providing learning opportunities.
Under the agreement, off-site classes will provide knowledge about asset management, while the Hokkaido Government plans to expand financial education opportunities for schools and families. It also plans to distribute awareness-raising videos on preventing child abuse through ATMs.
ほくほくフィナンシャルグループ was selected this July as a national “Child-Centered Leading Bank,” and will work with the Hokkaido Government to develop educational programs going forward.
The initiative aims to improve financial literacy among households raising children and provide support with financial planning. It is positioned as part of the Hokkaido Government’s child-rearing support measures.
