クレアシオン・キャピタル announced an investment in I-PEC through JPホールディングス. I-PEC provides confirmation reviews, inspections and energy-efficiency assessments, primarily in Kyoto, and private-sector bodies are expected to play a greater role in anticipation of the 2025 legal revisions.
クレアシオン・キャピタル株式会社 announced that it had acquired a stake in JPホールディングス株式会社 through an investment fund it manages and operates. The purpose of the investment is to contribute to increasing I-PEC's corporate value and maintaining and strengthening its neutral and fair review system.
I-PEC is a designated building confirmation and inspection body that provides confirmation reviews, confirmation inspections, housing performance evaluations and energy-efficiency conformity assessments as an integrated service, primarily in Kyoto Prefecture. It has maintained a high share of building confirmation cases in Kyoto City for many years. The company performs highly public-interest functions that ensure the safety and legal compliance of buildings.
With the revisions to the Building Standards Act and the Building Energy Efficiency Act taking effect in April 2025, JPホールディングス is working with the JCIA Group based on the view that the role of private designated building confirmation and inspection bodies will become even more important. Expected synergies include recruiting and developing personnel, sharing review expertise, strengthening the operating infrastructure through DX, and expanding the areas served.
クレアシオン・キャピタル has stated that, while respecting I-PEC's corporate culture and neutral and fair review system, it will use its own expertise and network to increase the corporate value of I-PEC and JPホールディングス.
