The Z-9 retains the model’s established features while being positioned as the latest model with enhanced aerodynamic performance. The new Lean Angle colorway features linear graphics in blue × red and green × red on a white base, creating a design that stands out during sport riding.
According to the announcement, the Lean Angle is priced at ¥85,800, with its official launch scheduled for January 2027. The Z-9 features a refreshed design over its predecessor, the Z-8, along with improved riding performance and overall refinement.
The results of large-scale wind-tunnel testing indicate that Lift, the force that causes the helmet to rise upward, is reduced by approximately 13% versus the previous model, while Drag, the force pushing the helmet backward from the front, is reduced by approximately 3%. Upper air intake airflow has also increased by approximately 1.9 times.
The Lean Angle is designed to suit sport bikes and is positioned as an expansion of the Z-9 lineup. Photos and further details are available in the gallery via the related link.
