Money Forward,Inc. announced that it has begun providing early access to “Money Forward AI Cowork,” equipped with features for professional services firms, to some users. The service specializes in back-office operations and is designed for use without specialized knowledge. It is expected to be offered as part of the cloud service “Money Forward Cloud.” Users will not need to handle implementation, operation or maintenance themselves. The demo showed a system in which operations are carried out through interaction between AI and people.
The demonstration used monthly journal-entry recording as an example and showed how AI and people work together based on each client’s rules, supporting documents and transaction details. It covered the full process, from reviewing supporting documents and organizing candidate journal entries to obtaining approval, preparing summaries and presenting proposals for reviewing the rules.
The company plans to continue early access in a closed environment and gradually move toward general availability based on the expansion of the target user base and the results of validating the terms and conditions. Ultimately, it aims to achieve an “Autonomous BackOffice” in which AI autonomously completes all back-office operations.
