The results overview for the fiscal year ended August 2026 stated that the company was pursuing business expansion, including M&A. Revenue was ¥2,216 million, reflecting the impact of making a company a consolidated subsidiary, and the gross profit margin improved, although net loss was ¥174 million. The company stated its policy of making Fujiyama Suisan Kako a consolidated subsidiary and advancing its entry into the fisheries and weather forecasting businesses.
Factors behind the variance from the initial plan included a ¥212 million variance in revenue from the plan, attributable to the postponement of EPC projects and large-scale development projects, as well as delivery delays. Net income fell short of plan because of higher costs, increased selling, general and administrative expenses, and the inclusion of investment-related costs.
By business segment, IoT Business Innovation and Construction Solutions advanced new IoT projects and expansion through co-creation, while the loss of large projects and sluggish performance affected operating income. Making Fujiyama Suisan Kako a consolidated subsidiary also expanded initiatives in the fisheries DX area. As part of its future growth strategy, the company plans to strengthen in-house product development and cost management, and forecasts revenue of ¥2,816 million, operating income of ¥75 million and net income of ¥47 million for the fiscal year ending August 2027.
The company also disclosed a planned change in its representative director and indicated that it intends to explain its management policy under a new structure, including structural reforms. Financially, it will continue working to improve the quality of revenue and profitability, with the aim of growing its construction DX business.
