A total of 35 Japan Tour players will compete in the jointly hosted TOTO Japan Classic, including Yoshida Rin (吉田鈴) and Yoshizawa Yuzuki (吉澤柚月), among 7 players making their first appearance.
The 35 Japan Tour players for the jointly hosted TOTO Japan Classic have been finalized as those who earned entry based on the Mercedes Rankings. Yamashita Miyu (山下美夢有) and Furue Ayaka (古江彩佳) are excluded from the eligible players, so the field includes players through Sato Miyu (佐藤心結), ranked 37th in the Mercedes Rankings. Of the 35 players who earned entry, Yoshizawa Yuzuki (吉澤柚月), Yoshida Rin (吉田鈴), Fujimoto Aina (藤本愛菜), Kurabayashi Kurenai (倉林紅), Masada Yuno (政田夢乃), Miyazawa Misaki (宮澤美咲) and Nakazone Sumika (仲宗根澄香) will be making their first appearance.
The tournament will be held as one event in the LPGA Tour's Asian Series. The winner will receive LPGA Tour membership and a 2-year exemption. If any players withdraw, entry slots will subsequently move down the rankings.
