JINS launched the new “Heroine-Look Midface-Shortening Glasses,” featuring cheek color lenses that create a healthy flush of color. The overseas business led earnings, with revenue of ¥80.73 billion overall and overseas revenue of approximately ¥19.4 billion, including ¥2.035 billion in operating profit.
As more people choose glasses not only for vision correction but also as part of their daily styling, JINS launched the new product nationwide in stores and online on 20 August. The product is a renewal of the “JINS Combination Titanium” line launched in April 2025, and its popularity has grown to the point that it is being called “midface-shortening glasses” on social media. The new product’s main point of interest is its “cheek color lenses,” which add color to the cheeks. The convenience of eliminating one step from the makeup routine is believed to be driving their popularity. The response before launch, including comments from users of other brands about switching to the product and the popularity of the model featured in the campaign, has also provided support.
Earnings continued to expand, with cumulative consolidated results for the first 3 quarters of the fiscal year ending August showing revenue of ¥80.73 billion, up 15.6% year on year, and operating profit of ¥8.996 billion, up 1.2%. The overseas eyewear business performed particularly strongly, with revenue rising 24.9% year on year to ¥19.407 billion and operating profit increasing 143.8% to ¥2.035 billion. The domestic business secured higher revenue in the ¥61.3 billion range, but operating profit declined year on year due to the impact of flagship-store openings and investment in IT and personnel.
For the full year, JINS forecasts revenue of ¥110.392 billion, up 13.6% from the previous fiscal year, operating profit of ¥12.772 billion, up 5.6%, and net profit of ¥8.623 billion, up 3.5%, raising the possibility of surpassing ¥100 billion in revenue for the first time. The annual dividend forecast is planned to be increased to ¥115, maintaining the company’s shareholder-return policy.
