NAVER Cloud and FPT, a major Vietnamese IT company, have entered into a business partnership and disclosed plans to jointly expand AI infrastructure and promote GPUaaS and AI factories across the APAC region.
NAVER Cloud and FPT have entered into a business agreement to cooperate in the AI factory and GPUaaS businesses. The companies plan to combine AI computing resources with cloud technologies to promote the use of AI while keeping customers' infrastructure development costs under control.
They plan to expand their AI infrastructure businesses across the APAC region, focusing on South Korea, Japan and Vietnam, and are expected to jointly identify demand in local markets. Their aim is to establish systems for providing GPU resources, AI models and services, thereby reducing the burden on customers of building their own infrastructure.
The companies will also promote exchanges among technical personnel. Engineers from NAVER Cloud's headquarters, its Vietnam development center and FPT are scheduled to share knowledge regularly and jointly work on GPU optimization and improvements in inference performance in the field, as well as the development of environments for AI agent services.
