TONES OSAKA will participate in DESIGN WEEKEND OSAKA 2026. For 4 days, it will open its in-house salon to the city, offering an exhibition and sale by installation artist Asai Mutsumi (浅井 睦), as well as an experience in which guests can bring lighting works into their rooms.
TONES OSAKA, a lifestyle hotel in Higashi-Umeda, Osaka, will participate in DESIGN WEEKEND OSAKA 2026 from 8 to 11 October 2026. TONES SALON inside the hotel will host “Record Salon: Picking Bends,” an exhibition and sale by Asai Mutsumi (浅井 睦), creating a space that combines music and light.
During the event, the salon, normally reserved for hotel guests, will be opened to the city as a place to experience the sound of records, light and shadow created using the bends of plants. Hotel guests can bring lighting works into their rooms and experience how they feel to use during their stay.
