Morinaga Cocoa’s new commercial, “Cacao Power: Changing Up My Usual Cup,” has been released, introducing a production that adds a new experience to the everyday cup.
The new commercial proposes a new moment for adults who always end up choosing the same drink. The female character asks, “Can you tell what I changed today?” and the cup is presented to evoke the bitter aroma and rich flavor of Morinaga Cocoa’s Cacao Power.
At the center of the commercial story is the appeal of cocoa with a bitter taste and aroma made from 70% cacao, creating an experience that slightly changes the usual cup.
According to the commercial report, filming took place at an authentic Western-style mansion studio, where a special lens used in movie production was employed to create a rich world with a sense of depth. Fai, who appears in the commercial, is a Norwegian Forest Cat and was presented in a way that made the eyes look like cacao beans.
