In October 2026, フージャースホールディングス established the Senior Prosperity Lab within its condominium development division. Using the voices of 100 Duo Seine residents as its starting point, it began exploring prosperity in the era of 100-year lifespans through co-creation with universities and companies.
The Hoosiers Group, which develops condominium projects, established the Senior Prosperity Lab as a research and co-creation hub focused on gaining deeper insights into the lives of seniors. Its purpose is to return the diverse perspectives of Duo Seine residents and others to society and explore new forms of prosperity in an aging society.
The lab will focus on surveys based on residents’ experiences, examining changes in values and lifestyles and definitions of prosperity through questionnaires and interviews. It also plans to pursue collaboration and co-creation with universities, research institutions and companies, consider and promote joint research and tie-ups, and share the results with society.
As the first step in its research, the lab conducted a survey named Research00. The report describes an effort involving 100 Duo Seine residents to examine the differences between “what they currently value” and “what they want to enrich in the future,” the possibility that results are influenced not only by age but also by living conditions and intentions, and the forms that future actions may take. The results are positioned as hypotheses developed by combining individual voices.
Going forward, the lab plans to expand into Research01, strengthen collaboration with companies, universities and local communities, and incorporate perspectives from people other than Duo Seine residents. The lab’s findings are expected to inform consideration of future ways of living, services and the shape of society.
