Ezaki Glico and the グリコマニュファクチャリングジャパン Osaka Plant will hold the “Glico Disaster Preparedness Festa 2026” at Ezaki Memorial Hall on 10 October. The event will promote disaster preparedness through experiences including seismic intensity 7 simulations and an evacuation shelter experience.
On 10 October 2026, Ezaki Glico Co.,Ltd. and グリコマニュファクチャリングジャパン株式会社 Osaka Plant will hold the disaster preparedness event “Glico Disaster Preparedness Festa 2026” at Ezaki Memorial Hall in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture.
The event aims to raise awareness of disaster preparedness in light of the increase in abnormal weather and natural disasters. In addition to booths operated by government agencies, it will feature sections introducing disaster preparedness initiatives.
Visitors can experience earthquakes with a seismic intensity of 7 or higher using an earthquake simulation vehicle, as well as experience an evacuation shelter. Water supply trucks, Self-Defense Forces vehicles, and a Glico Wagon will also be on display.
The Osaka Prefectural Government, Nishiyodogawa Ward Office, Nishiyodogawa Fire Station, Nishiyodogawa Police Station, JR Kyobashi Supervisory Station, Osaka Provincial Cooperation Office, Japan Self-Defense Forces, Ministry of Defense, 西日本ロジスティクス, NHK, and the Osaka City Waterworks Bureau will cooperate in the event, which aims to contribute to the local community.
