Aoyama Shoji announced that it will launch a women's belt made with OCOMETTAN synthetic leather using non-food rice as a recycled raw material. The launch date is 16 October 2026, and the belt will be available at all YOFUKU NO AOYAMA stores nationwide and the official online store.
The product uses a pinless buckle with no belt holes, allowing the waist to be finely adjusted regardless of whether a dress or bottom garment has belt loops. OCOMETTAN is designed to reduce the use of petroleum-derived materials by blending 30% resource rice derived from non-food rice into the resin and using plant-derived ingredients in the synthetic leather resin.
The product details are as follows: women's belt [pinless buckle], overall length approximately 105 cm, width approximately 1.5 cm, available in black and off-white, made with synthetic leather, retail price ¥4,389 including tax, and available at all YOFUKU NO AOYAMA stores (off-white at 200 major stores) and the official online store.
