Howtelevision, Inc. revised upward its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending January 2027. Against the backdrop of strong first-half results, the company maintained its previous sales forecast while raising the ranges for operating profit, ordinary profit and net income.
Howtelevision, Inc. revised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending January 2027. Sales were maintained at the previous forecast of ¥3,100 million, while operating profit was revised upward from ¥50 million to a range of ¥100–200 million, ordinary profit from ¥38 million to ¥85–185 million, and net income attributable to owners of the parent from ¥27 million to ¥33–98 million. Actual results for the previous fiscal year were sales of ¥2,558 million and operating profit of ¥251 million.
The revision reflects strong first-half results. Sales seasonality, which had previously been concentrated in May–June and October, shifted to April–June and January in the previous fiscal year. In the current fiscal year, sales are becoming increasingly concentrated in March–June and December–January (the fourth quarter). As the second-half outlook is difficult to forecast accurately at this point, the company has disclosed a conservative range. It also recognizes that further revisions may be possible depending on the performance trend from December 2026 to January 2027.
