BE:FIRST, the dance and vocal group, updated its official Instagram on 23 September, posting a collaboration video featuring JUNON and IVE’s Rei performing “WATCH ME.” The video shows them performing the choreography for the chorus of the lead track “WATCH ME feat. At the event, BE:FIRST and IVE appeared at the live event “INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO,” held at Belluna Dome in Saitama. The collaboration video was filmed backstage, and the released footage has drawn fans’ attention.
Fans have posted comments such as “There’s way too much demand for this,” “It’s so close to home and heart-fluttering,” and “It’s too swoony, it’s dangerous,” while many others praised the pair’s height difference, expressions and chemistry.
The latest development has once again drawn attention to the buzz surrounding the collaboration video set to the lead track from BE:FIRST’s global EP “WATCH ME,” released on 18 September, as well as the overlap between the fan bases of BE:FIRST and IVE.
