Yamaha has unveiled the 2027 XSR900 GP in Europe. This sport heritage model combines 1980s-style Grand Prix styling with the latest electronic controls and is available in 4 colors.
Yamaha Motor Europe announced the 2027 model of the 900cc urban retro XSR900 GP in October 2026. Its styling evokes 1980s Grand Prix racers, with 4 available colors reminiscent of the Gauloises livery.
The 890cc CP3 inline three-cylinder engine complies with EU5 emissions standards. The chassis uses a Deltabox frame, while an electronic control system incorporating an IMU is used to maximize engine performance and centrally manage functions including traction control, ABS and slide control. The front and rear suspension are fully adjustable KYB units, the wheels use spin forging, and the tires are Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S23.
Through Yamaha Ride Control, riders can select 3 modes, SPORT, STREET and RAIN, as well as 2 CUSTOM settings. The shift system includes a third-generation quick shifter, cruise control and an assist-and-slipper clutch. The cockpit features a 5-inch TFT display and smartphone connectivity.
