ゴールドクレスト has announced plans to build three 20-story reinforced-concrete apartment buildings near the south exit of Machida Station on the JR Yokohama Line, with a total floor area of approximately 62,519 m². The complex will contain 648 units and include a child welfare facility. 長谷工コーポレーション is expected to handle design and construction, with work targeted to begin at the end of August 2027 and completion expected at the end of March 2031.
The 8,681 m² site is located at 3-2781-4 and other parcels in Kamitsuruma-honcho, Minami Ward, Sagamihara, and is currently used as a pay parking lot and bicycle parking area. The site is near the border between Machida and Sagamihara, about a 4-minute walk from the south exit of Machida Station, in an area with a concentration of hotels.
The plan provides a piloti space with an upper-level atrium across all buildings. Parking for 216 vehicles will be provided in a tower-style facility, along with bicycle parking for 980 bicycles. The foundation is expected to use cast-in-place piles.
