Kurashiru,Inc. has begun offering Digital Twin Agent, an AI avatar that recreates consumers' purchasing and behavioral trends, as a new feature of Kurashiru AI OS. Companies can enter product concepts and promotional proposals and check responses immediately. The service is intended to support faster and more cost-efficient decision-making than conventional research methods, with additional questions available as many times as needed.
Digital Twin Agent uses recipe search and browsing data from the recipe video platform Kurashiru, together with purchasing data from Recichalle, to generate AI avatars that recreate preferences and purchasing trends by consumer segment through statistical processing that does not identify individuals. No personal data is provided to client companies.
For example, companies can enter product concepts, messaging proposals, proposed changes to prices or pack sizes, and promotional themes, then check in real time which proposals generate the strongest responses, which consumer segments respond, and why. Response changes can also be simulated by setting conditions, and additional questions can be asked of the same model without conducting another survey, which is a key feature of the service.
Conventional consumer research often takes several weeks from design through data collection, tabulation, and reporting, and can be expensive. Digital Twin Agent uses data reaching approximately 35 million people per month and is said to enable companies to understand not only which proposals were selected, but also why.
