Shofu raised its consolidated net income forecast for the current fiscal year from the previous forecast of ¥4.75 billion to ¥6.07 billion, forecasting growth above the same period of the previous year and a new record high.
7979 Shofu announced in the afternoon session on 28 October that it had raised its consolidated net income forecast for the current fiscal year (2026/4-2027/3) from the previous forecast of ¥4.75 billion to ¥6.07 billion, forecasting 24.4% growth. The forecast is higher than the previous one and is expected to set a new record high.
At the same time, the consolidated net income forecast for the first half (April-September) was raised 54.5% from the previous forecast of ¥2.55 billion to ¥3.94 billion, representing a substantial increase from the same period of the previous year. The outlook for interim net income was also affected by the revision.
The revised forecast indicators for the current fiscal year are sales of ¥42,958 million, unchanged from the previous forecast; operating income of ¥6,003 million; ordinary income of ¥5,890 million; net income of ¥6,077 million; and earnings per share of ¥170.4. The announcement date was 2026-10-28, and the accounting basis was consolidated.
The revision was attributed mainly to expectations of higher sales due to foreign-exchange movements, differences in the timing of expenses during the first half, and the recognition of extraordinary income.
