OBAYASHI CORPORATION will exhibit at Sōene Akari Park 2026, held at Tokyo’s Ueno Park, showcasing its timber and wood-based construction initiatives and circular city concept.
OBAYASHI CORPORATION will exhibit at the event held at the Fountain Plaza in Ueno Park over 5 days from 30 October to 3 November 2026. This year’s exhibition will again present a multifaceted range of timber and wood-based construction initiatives that contribute to carbon neutrality.
The exhibition will use models and panels to introduce the use of wood as a circular resource, explaining the concept of LOOP50, a circular timber city that coexists with forests; the OBAYASHI CORPORATION Mori Sora Mirai pavilion, scheduled to be exhibited at the 2027 International Horticultural Expo; and resource-circulation initiatives including the reuse of building components.
As a hands-on wood experience, the Tsumiki Tower Challenge will allow visitors to experience differences among wood species. Participants can stack original wooden blocks.
Visitors will receive wooden novelty items, including stickers and umbrella markers, while supplies last.
