T-BOLAN held its final live show at Nippon Budokan and made the surprise announcement that it would launch the new lineup “#T-BOLAN” on 10 July 2028, two years from now.
The four-member all-male rock band T-BOLAN held its final live show at Nippon Budokan, “This Journey Never Ends,” performing all 24 songs and creating an end-of-show atmosphere. During the final remarks, the screen displayed “2028,07,10 THE NEXT CHAPTER FOREVER BEGINS #T-BOLAN,” and Moritomo Arashi (森友嵐士) announced the launch of the new lineup.
According to the announcement, the new lineup, “#T-BOLAN,” will launch on 10 July 2028, two years from now. Moritomo Arashi (森友嵐士) said he would pass the baton of succession to the future, and told the audience that each person would become a partner in creating the new T-BOLAN.
Although T-BOLAN debuted in 1991, it went through a breakup and reunion and was marking its 35th anniversary. The band explained that it had toured all 47 prefectures on its “final live tour” since last year, with Budokan chosen as the final venue.
While packing the show with hit songs, Moritomo Arashi (森友嵐士) declared, “The journey never ends. This is the beginning of the day when eternal T-BOLAN is born.” The announcement surprised 10,000 fans and encouraged them to take part in creating the story of the future.
