Kobe City, スマートバリュー, One Bright KOBE and 神戸トヨペット have launched the Kobe Urban Mobility Consortium, with JTQ株式会社 serving as an adviser. Starting from TOTTEI and GLION ARENA KOBE, the consortium will promote the urban implementation of next-generation mobility linking the waterfront with key locations across the city. It aims to balance areas that are enjoyable to explore on foot with areas that are easy to get around, while creating social and economic value.
The consortium aims to build the "Kobe Index Line" (provisional name), which will overlay the city's north-south urban axis with east-west circulation along the waterfront. In addition to land transport, it is considering the development of an urban model integrating land, sea and air transport, with a marina and an eVTOL port scheduled to open in 2027. Ensuring the security of data use and ID integration has also been identified as an issue.
