Revenue increased 2.3% year on year, while the company swung from an operating loss of ¥16 million in the year-earlier period to an operating profit of ¥30 million, improving the operating margin to approximately 6.6%.

The full-year forecasts are revenue of ¥3,166 million and operating profit of ¥197 million, putting first-quarter progress at 14.5% and 15.2%, respectively. Since 25% of the fiscal year had elapsed by the end of the first quarter, progress in both revenue and operating profit was below a simple time-apportioned level.
