In Q1 of FY2027, revenue reached 25.1% of the full-year plan, while operating profit reached 32.1%, putting profit ahead of schedule. The next H1 results will show whether this profit progress is temporary or can be sustained on a cumulative first-half basis.

Whether H1 revenue can reach ¥4,500 million, equivalent to 50% of the full-year forecast of ¥9,000 million.
Whether H1 operating profit can reach at least ¥526.5 million, equivalent to 50% of the full-year forecast of ¥1,053 million.
Whether H1 net income can reach at least ¥361 million, equivalent to 50% of the full-year forecast of ¥722 million.
Whether the Q1 operating margin of approximately 15.0% can be maintained on a cumulative H1 basis.
Revenue in Q1 of FY2027 was ¥2,262 million, operating profit was ¥338.852 million, ordinary profit was ¥350.301 million, and net income for the quarter was ¥238 million. The full-year forecasts are ¥9,000 million, ¥1,053 million, ¥1,073 million, and ¥722 million, respectively, putting Q1 progress at 25.1% for revenue, 32.1% for operating profit, 32.6% for ordinary profit, and 33.0% for net income. Given that approximately 25% of the fiscal year has elapsed, revenue is broadly tracking in line with time elapsed, while the profit items are progressing ahead of plan.
Profit is ahead of schedule because Q1 revenue increased 9.6% from ¥2,063.697 million in the same quarter of the previous year, while operating profit rose 17.5% from ¥288.443 million. The company cites customer demand for systems investment, workforce expansion, and broader collaboration with business partners as factors behind the earnings growth, but it has not disclosed the profit contribution by project or factor. Accordingly, the Q1 progress rate alone is insufficient to conclude that full-year results will exceed plan; H1 must confirm whether the same margin and project completion pace can be sustained.
If the full-year forecast is simply divided by two, the H1 benchmarks are ¥4,500 million for revenue, ¥526.5 million for operating profit, ¥536.5 million for ordinary profit, and ¥361 million for net income. These are not the company’s H1 forecasts, but mechanical 50% benchmarks against the full-year plan. In H1 of FY2026, revenue was ¥4,178 million, operating profit was ¥606 million, and net income was ¥429 million. The next results should therefore be assessed both against the previous year and in terms of progress toward the FY2027 plan.
Of particular interest is whether the Q1 operating margin of approximately 15.0% can be maintained despite hiring, training costs, and expenses concentrated in the first half. Even if H1 operating profit exceeds ¥526.5 million, a substantial shortfall in revenue progress against ¥4,500 million would leave open the possibility that profit is only apparently ahead because of the project mix or the timing of expense recognition. Conversely, if revenue, operating profit, and net income each reach around 50% of their full-year plans while margins remain at Q1 levels, confidence in the full-year plan will be higher than it was at the Q1 stage.
