For Q1 of the fiscal year ending March 2027, revenue was ¥3,092 million and operating profit was ¥252 million, representing progress of 24.3% and 27.4%, respectively, against the full-year forecast. In FY2027-H1, profit is expected to remain front-loaded due to large OTT projects, with the key question being whether the full-year forecasts of ¥12,702 million in revenue and ¥920 million in operating profit can be maintained.

Consolidated revenue for Q1 of the fiscal year ending March 2027 was ¥3,092 million, up 9.7% year on year, while operating profit was ¥252 million, up 53.1%. Ordinary profit was ¥262 million and net profit attributable to owners of the parent was ¥150 million, up 49.3% and 63.4%, respectively, year on year. Operating profit and net profit grew faster than revenue, indicating that, at least in Q1, profit is progressing ahead of revenue.
The full-year forecasts are revenue of ¥12,702 million, operating profit of ¥920 million, ordinary profit of ¥950 million and net profit of ¥536 million. Q1 progress was 24.3%, 27.4%, 27.6% and 28.1%, respectively. If the first half is simply assumed to represent 50.0% of the full year, revenue of ¥6,351 million and operating profit of ¥460 million would provide reference points for FY2027-H1. However, the company has not disclosed the timing of project generation or market-specific seasonality as numerical assumptions. The 50.0% figure is therefore a mechanical benchmark, not the company’s own plan.
The company attributed Q1 profit growth to the realization of a large OTT project using Stream CORE, revenue growth at VideoStep and アイ・ピー・エル exceeding plan. It has not disclosed how many millions of yen each project contributed to revenue and operating profit, or whether the large project was a one-off or will lead to recurring charges and additional projects. The company also reports a single segment, with no accounting-based breakdown allowing revenue and profit from OTT, VideoStep and アイ・ピー・エル to be compared by segment.
Accordingly, H1 should be used not only to confirm year-on-year growth in revenue and profit, but also to determine whether Q1’s front-loaded profit resulted from the timing of large-project recognition or from expanded service use and continued growth at subsidiaries. In addition to whether the full-year forecast is maintained or upgraded, disclosure of project contributions, order backlog and market-specific revenue as of H1 would allow a more specific assessment of the ¥920 million operating profit forecast.
