These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

In the electrical and construction materials business, deliveries to large-scale projects, including urban redevelopment in major metropolitan areas, factories and data centers, remained strong. Higher selling prices and a surge in copper prices also contributed to revenue. In the industrial equipment business, revenue increased as the impact of inventory adjustments related to semiconductors eased and demand for labor-saving and automation solutions expanded. In the proprietary products business, strong shipments of room air conditioners and the recovery in semiconductor market conditions contributed to higher revenue. On the profit side, higher profits across all segments, along with increases in dividend income, foreign exchange gains and gains on sales of investment securities, also contributed.
