Reason for the revision

As stainless steel manufacturers implemented price increases in response to higher raw material prices and other costs, the company promoted revisions to selling prices to reflect purchase prices. In addition, demand related to semiconductors recovered sharply, and sales volumes exceeded plan. Although speculative demand is showing signs of settling during the full year, demand related to semiconductors, shipbuilding and infrastructure is expected to remain strong, prompting these revisions.

Previous-period resultsInterim period: net sales of ¥24,449 million, operating profit of ¥564 million, ordinary profit of ¥526 million, interim net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥274 million, and interim earnings per share of ¥24.90 (second quarter of the fiscal year ended March 2026). Full year: net sales of ¥49,725 million, operating profit of ¥1,298 million, ordinary profit of ¥1,259 million, net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥667 million, and earnings per share of ¥60.49 (fiscal year ended March 2026).
Dividend forecast revisionThe forecast for the year-end dividend for the fiscal year ending March 2027 is scheduled to be announced together with the disclosure of the interim earnings report on 10 November.
