The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Demand for printing paper and information paper continued to decline as companies and government agencies pursued digitalization policies, while procurement and logistics costs also increased. At the same time, the company worked to maintain stable supplies and sales at appropriate prices and to improve profit margins. In addition, revenue and profit from the real estate leasing business decreased because rental real estate was sold in the previous fiscal year, and the repayment of subsidies was recorded as an extraordinary loss in the current period.
