The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The sports business division posted higher revenue, mainly due to the inclusion of Itoman Sports Wellness Co., Ltd. in the consolidated results. In the high school division, the number of students remained above the previous year during the fiscal year, while new admissions for the new academic year also increased. Costs rose due to the inclusion of the company, development of new mock examinations and higher personnel expenses associated with wage increases. However, ordinary profit and subsequent profit figures improved, partly reflecting the absence of the previous year's equity-method investment loss and impairment loss.
