The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

In Solution Services, the continued expansion of cloud-based usage fees and solid orders for customer solution development contributed to results. In Contract Development, the impact of strategic projects from the previous fiscal year subsided. In Systems Operations and Services, however, the number of high-margin projects from the LINE Yahoo Group declined, while in Support Services, a shortage of projects continued due to the impact of in-house production by major customers. Cost reductions from a review of outsourcing expenses nevertheless boosted profit.
