「Previously, personnel expenses for the department primarily engaged in customer service in the real estate leasing business were presented under “cost of sales.” To present the actual nature of our group’s business activities more appropriately, from the first-quarter consolidated accounting period we have changed the presentation method so that these expenses are included under “selling, general and administrative expenses.” As a result, the ¥19.145 million in “personnel expenses” included under “cost of sales” in the quarterly consolidated income statement for the cumulative third-quarter period of the previous fiscal year has been reclassified under “selling, general and administrative expenses” as “personnel expenses,” “provision for bonuses,” “retirement benefit expenses” and “other.” In addition, expenses related to the head office were previously presented under “selling, general and administrative expenses” using the office’s floor-area ratio relative to the entire building. Because these expenses were immaterial, from the first-quarter consolidated accounting period we have changed the presentation method so that they are included under “cost of sales.” As a result, the ¥4.317 million in head-office expenses included under “taxes and dues,” “depreciation” and “other” within “selling, general and administrative expenses” in the quarterly consolidated income statement for the cumulative third-quarter period of the previous fiscal year has been reclassified under “cost of sales.”」
