The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the dormitory business, higher revenue and profits were driven by an increase in occupied rooms and appropriate pricing. In the hotel business, appropriate pricing and higher RevPAR contributed to higher revenue and profits. Meanwhile, operating costs, inflation, large-scale renovations and pre-opening expenses weighed on profits. The Company explains that the decline in net income forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 is attributable to special factors.
