Notice Regarding Revisions to the Consolidated Earnings Forecast for the Second Quarter (Interim Period) of the Fiscal Year Ending December 2026

The consolidated earnings forecasts for the second quarter (interim period) of the fiscal year ending December 2026 have been revised downward for net sales, operating profit and ordinary profit, while interim net income attributable to owners of the parent has been revised upward. The full-year forecasts remain unchanged, and the ¥64 million extraordinary loss associated with the relocation of the head office is now expected not to arise because it will be offset against loss compensation.

Reason for the revision

Construction material prices rose amid the weaker-yen trend, while shortages and delivery delays caused by the situation in the Middle East, together with customers becoming more cautious in their investment decisions due to further interest-rate increases, resulted in delays in construction progress and the postponement of orders for certain projects. Interim net income exceeded the previous forecast due to the effects of tax-effect accounting, while the extraordinary loss will not arise because it will be offset against loss compensation.

Details and amount of extraordinary loss

The ¥64 million extraordinary loss associated with the relocation of the head office will be offset against the ¥700 million advance payment of loss compensation received in July 2026, and therefore will not arise during the accounting period for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2026.
