Reason for the revision

The outlook for resource prices, including fuel for power generation, was extremely uncertain due to the situation in the Middle East and other factors, making it difficult to reasonably calculate earnings forecasts previously. However, the earnings forecasts were calculated based on results through the first quarter and certain assumptions. The dividend forecast was determined in consideration of the basic policy of maintaining stable and continuous dividends and a consolidated dividend on equity ratio (DOE) of 2.0% or more, as well as the earnings forecasts and business environment.

Previous-period resultsConsolidated: Net sales of ¥220,177 million, operating income of ¥9,290 million, ordinary income of ¥8,167 million, net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥6,234 million, and net income per share of ¥114.78. Non-consolidated: Net sales of ¥207,578 million, operating income of ¥5,626 million, ordinary income of ¥4,836 million, net income of ¥4,245 million, and net income per share of ¥78.16.
Dividend forecast revisionPrevious forecast: Undetermined. Revised forecast: ¥25.00 interim dividend, ¥25.00 year-end dividend, and ¥50.00 annual dividend.
